The First Omen may lead one to believe in cinematic redemption. Even as a period piece, the major studio debut from co-writer & director, Arkahsa Stevenson, is as timely as it is gripping. While there are some many pacing issues; this is an entry into the Omen series that is much more than Damien Thorne and it’s all the better for it.
