Slender Man (The Movie)

In This Episode...

The internet is full of wonderful surprises. About ten years ago, the internet gave birth to a new breed of horror called "Creepy Pasta". With the birth of "Creepy Pasta", came a legend known as The Slender Man. In this episode, we're sharing our experiences with creepy pasta and slender man. For Brandon,  a majority of his exposure to the genre was through the YouTube channel, Marble Hornets. If you wanna check them out, click here. However, both of our first dip into the genre of Creepy Pasta is actually "Squidward's Suicide". If you've never heard it, you can check it out below. What's your first forte into creepy pasta?

DOES THE FILM SUFFER FOR ITS' RATING?

PG-13 horror movies don't always have the best reputation or quality. There are exceptions to the rule though with films like A Quiet Place or The Ring. Can a film really suffer or be choked merely because of its' demographic? Can it suffer because of its' rating? Do you think that Slender Man could of been of better quality had he gotten the "R" rating? Sound off in the comment section

SPIRITUAL SIDE

Believe it or not, Slender Man has some supernatural or spiritual applications to it. While we've said it many times in the past, we are secular show but the people running the show are Christians. Specifically for this episode, we are diving into the supernatural side of things that Slender Man brings to the table. While also sharing our own experience with things of this nature.

Make sure you guys also check out our review of Slender Man here. Check both hosts on our spin-off show, The P.S. Midnight Cast, which starts its' second season August 23rd.
