HBO (Part One): Watchmen, Chapter One

IN THIS EPISODE…

It is 1985 and Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons are about to completely challenge the medium of comics with a little book called Watchmen. It is 2019 and Damon Lindelof is about to do for television, what Alan and Dave did 35 years ago for comics. Watchmen brought forth some of our history’s ugliest events and dared to shine a light on them. Events that we dared to sweep under the rug. This is the first in a six part series dissecting Watchmen, its’ themes and the lines between fact and fiction of our own history. In this episode, we are joined by Caless Davis of Feelin’ Film to unpack the lasting impression of this important HBO series.
