IN THIS EPISODE…

Welcome to another adventure within the multiverse! For this adventure, grab your passport because we are going all over the multiverse. We’re joined by Brandon “Riff Daddy” Miller, one of our staff writers, to bring down the big details of Disney’s upcoming streaming service Disney+. Disney’s annual convention, D23, opened up the details of the upcoming service wide. Not only giving us details about what is available at launch but also what original content to expect as well. Whether you’re a fan of Star Wars, Marvel or even yes, Lizzie McGuire – there is something for everyone. As if that wasn’t enough, we’re jumping over to the DC-Universe to talk about the latest animated feature, Batman: Hush. NETFLIX, IT WAS GOOD WHILE IT LASTED

Once upon a time Netflix was considered to be a truly innovative company. Pioneering the streaming and binging age as we know how it. Now, though, it seems like everyone wants a cut of that industry. As studios are now pulling their titles from Netflix’s library to pursue their own streaming service. It was announced at the beginning of this year that Friends and The Office, two of the streaming giant’s two most watched shows, would be leaving for their parental services. Disney is now adding salt to that wound by the INCREDIBLE library which they are debuting their streaming service with. To add more insult to injury they are half the price of Netflix at a whopping 6.99 per month. The house of mouse’s streaming service is planning to role out favorites like The Simpsons (& yes, that’s every single episode, as well), Iron Man, every Star Wars, Boy Meets World, Duck Tales, Kim Possible and so much more. Not to mention the original content set in the MCU & the Star Wars Universe. To see the complete list, you can click here. Are you planning to get Disney+ when it drops Nov 12th?

HIDE, SEEK & HUSH!

Batman is a character which is beloved already. To his credit, the character has multiple iconic storylines which range from The Dark Knight Returns to Knightfall to A Death in the Family to The Killing Joke – just to name a few. In the early 2000’s Grant Morrison and Jim Lee ushered in another iconic storyline with Hush. Now , Hush  joins the animated library of DC’s ever evolving collection. Though, the biggest question to ask yourself is: is it as good as the source material? To read our review, click here. Share your thoughts with us in the comments below. As  if leading a double life, wasn’t hard enough. Families can be just as hard. No one learns that more than Samara Weaving’s Grace in the horror comedy, Ready or Not. Ready tells the story of Grace, a newlywed bride, who is suckered into game night with her husband’s family only to get more than she bargained for. Make sure to share your thoughts on either movie below. Check out our review for Ready or Not, right here.
