The thing about comic con is you never truly know what to expect and no one convention is the same. Usually when we cover conventions we've spotlighted creators and their work. We at Victims and Villains believe in the continuation of growth and revival and we are ever changing. This past month, we had the chance of doing a small library convention in Waynesboro, PA. We used the opportunity to put mental health resources into younger hands and got to talk a variety of topics including Spider-Man, Pokemon, Batman & more.

On the flip side, we also got the chance to set up a table at a local pop punk show. We got to sit down with a couple of bands from the Maryland & Pennsylvania area.

WHO IS START THE MACHINE?

The X-Files are a Frederick, MD based band that brings nostalgia into the limelight, Naming bands like The Misfits, Bad Religion and other 80s punk bands as influences for thier sound. These guys are bringing us back to the heart of the genre.

WHO IS SWITCH HITTER?

Probably the youngest of the bands featured in this episode, these guys are exactly what you would have if Rise Against & A Day to Remember had a child. Their words, not ours. Still, these guys deliver and live up to their name with an impressive live show. These guys will be one to watch for. Follow on Facebook, Spotify (Search: Switch Hitter), Instagram & Bandcamp for more content.
