Though it will definitely feel familiar, The Long Night shines with performances from its leads in Scout Taylor Compton and Nolan Gerard Funk. The film is well-paced, and genuinely creepy but can feel empty at times. The emptiness hits an all-time high during the film's climax; shifting into predictability and formulaic territories.
