Welcome to another adventure within the multiverse! This adventure is a bit shorter than our usual journeys. Listeners may also experience some turbulence within their headphones as well. We sincerely apologize for that. For this journey, we are sitting down with independent documentarian, Cody Meirick. Cody is the director and main creative force behind the documentary, Scary Stories. This documentary focuses on the stories behind the cult classic book series, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. While the film based on the books hits theaters this weekend (and our episode on that series and movie will be coming in a few weeks). The books had a massive cultural impact on a generation of readers and parents. Not to mention, paving the way for cultural phenomenons like Goosebumps and Are You Afraid of the Dark?
