EPISODE 215: Spider-Man: Far From Home

Welcome to another adventure within the multiverse! For this adventure, we are traveling to the past and present. Fair warning, this episode contains spoilers for Avengers: Endgame. This adventure brings back our resident movie man, Mr. Dan Rockwood. Following the events of Endgame, the latest adventure and the finale to Phrase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is Spider-Man: Far From Home. Home brings back Tom Holland to face off against the Elementals while Peter is abroad for a vacation. So much for rest. Right, Peter?
THE GAME-CHANGING ASPECT
From the marketing stand point alone, we knew that Spidey’s latest adventure would be a game-changer. Trailers led us to believe that the events following Endgame created a hole within our universe – resulting in the multiverse. Thus, forever changing everything we know about the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Is that it though? Absolutely not. This film comes equipped with two post-credit scenes that will forever change not only Spider-Man but the MCU as a whole. THE IMPORTANCE OF MENTAL HEALTH
Late last year, DC Comics announced a truly unique series. The series, in question , is called Heroes in Crisis. Side note, yes we are planning on doing an episode about it in the fall. Heroes focused on the state of mental health for a superhero. Throughout the duration of Home’s first act, it finds Peter after the events of Endgame trying his best simply to return to his normal life. Though the demands of the hero game can be demanding. In some ways, we as a culture as continuously speaking to go-go-go. We never consider how much a busy lifestyle can affect our overall mental health. For the first bit of our show, we are diving into just that.
