Grab your crosses because we’re jumping into the latest entry of The Conjuring universe. That’s right, we are talking about Annabelle Comes Home. Annabelle opens up the universe wide open. Introducing audiences to brand new, fearful additions to the universe like The Ferry Man, The Violent Bride and more. OPEN UP WIDE
Because Annabelle sets a bold new entry into the famous horror franchise. Similar to its’ predecessor, The Conjuring setting up Annabelle and The Conjuring 2 setting up Valak (or The Nun). While in some ways, Home feels like a closing chapter for the character’s trilogy. In the same breathe, it also unleashes more chaos into the universe. Thanks in part to The Ferry Man, the Violent Bride, the Psychic Television, the Hellhound and more. Here’s to fingers crossed, that we get to see more of these entities lighting up the silver screen.
SURPRISE, SURPRISE
Annabelle ushers in a whole lot of surprises with the monsters. Though, it offers up more than just that. Within its’ opening sequences, viewers are led to believe that Ed and Loraine Warren, played by Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, are going to be the stars. Previously playing the famous group in the two The Conjuring films. The two stars are quickly dissolved into the background rather quickly in favor of their daughter, Judy – brought to life by McKenna Grace. She’s not the only surprise though, the film offers up a surprising amount of heart for a horror film.
