Perlman and company had their adventures brought to life by The Shape of Water director, Guillermo del Toro. While this cinematic journey is brought to life by The Descent director with Stranger Things actor, David Harbour as big red.Though how does it fair against the previous incarination. Check out our full review here.

DARKER BY NATURE

Hellboy has always been a character who has been predestined to bring forth the apocalypse and the end of the world.  While previous versions of the character have explored the character’s dark destination. This new film explores the serious nature of how dark this character can truly be. All four of the previous films have been PG-13, while this one has the freedom of an R rating. Though does an R rating really make your final film a better product? Does it work here for this one?

OPEN UP WIDE

Neil Marhsall’s take on the cult superhero opens up the mythology of the character wider. Introducing the villainess Nimue – The Blood Queen, Lobster Johnson, Alice Monaghan, Major Ben Daimio and more.
